Job Summary

 

The Enterprise Account Manager will play a critical role within the Lightpath Sales Organization.  The successful candidate will team with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to serve the needs of our largest customers to ensure they are positioned to be highly responsive in developing and presenting our solutions.

Responsibilities

 

The Enterprise Account Manager working in conjunction with the Sales Teams will further sales through various activities including but not limited to the following:

 

•    Partner and complement AE’s to better serve the needs of our customers.
•    Proactively communicate with our clients and act as a liaison within Lightpath.
•    Support customers with transactional quote requests below 1,000 Mbps.
•    Correspond with customer accounts to write and coordinate move, add, change, and disconnect orders.
•    Support AE’s and Sales Management with general requests in support of customers.
•    Expand and deepen relationships within our largest accounts with the purpose of accelerating sales and improving the overall customer experience.
•    Aid in facilitating the distribution of any required monthly customer reporting.
•    Interact effectively as a team member within the Sales organization to support achievement of sales objectives.
•    Work in and contribute to an atmosphere of trust and integrity with fellow employees to ensure the company’s overall success. 
•    Work within all company guidelines and proactively seek the advice and assistance of your supervisor whenever needed. 
•    Consistently and completely utilize our CRM Tool, (Salesforce.com) and enter all sales related activity in accordance with the sales methodology into the system daily. 
•    Consistently strive to meet revenue objectives as outlined for the role.
•    Any other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

 

•    Candidates must be high energy individuals who are willing to be an integral part of a growing professional sales organization.
•    Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize effectively in a fast-paced demanding environment and be highly responsive to customers.
•    Ability to work well under pressure.
•    Ability to work independently and with others
•    Strong professional verbal and written communication skills
•    Strong people and relationship management skills
•    Strong negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills 
•    Strong Computer Skills are required for development of complex customized proposals and RFI/P responses etc.
•    Minimum 2 years in telecom/ cable industry in support of sales preferred
•    Minimum 4 years in customer facing position preferred 


EDUCATION:


•    College degree or relevant experience


OTHER: 


•    Satisfactory Driver’s License & Dependable transportation
•    Ability to travel as needed.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. The pay range at the time of posting in the specified locations is $65,000- $75,000/year. Pay ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience.
