Job Summary

A Media Planner’s role on the Cross Channel team is to create, execute, and facilitate delivery of effective advertising campaigns for our largest internal client – Altice Marketing. 
This position will operate in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple projects. This role will provide support across each of the following business units: B2C, B2B, Mobile, News, Optimum Media Marketing, PSA’s and Co-op (Programmers).
With knowledge of their KPI’s, target demo, campaign timelines, creative/copy changes, the Media Planner actively participates in stakeholder meetings to understand which efforts are priority on a monthly basis, and help plan/track how our internal inventory will be implemented for each effort.

Media Planners work closely with internal traffic teams, ensuring orders are entered properly, ad copy is applied, and schedules start on time, including revisions, makegoods and post-campaign analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, creating and executing the cross-channel schedules for all Altice Business units in East and West footprint which include B2C, B2B, Mobile, News, Optimum Media Mkt, Government Affairs and Coop business.
  • Providing overall media planning support to Altice Marketing team. 
  • Developing monthly allocation recommendations for the business units to agree on, meeting with the stakeholders to discuss and confirm on a monthly basis.
  • Schedule spots, export and activate orders and order revisions properly into software.
  • Manage creative trafficking, communicating any issues.
  • Act as lead in keeping track of the inventory allocations on a monthly basis (where the inventory is being used).
  • Using MRM for addressable campaigns and learning XGL for regular campaigns.
  • Coordinate with Optimum traffic team on a regular basis.
  • Assist in training and development for associate planner.
  • Post- campaign analysis for East and West Altice Business Units.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficient computer skills with: Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Docs, Outlook and Teams • Working knowledge of advertising media landscape, terminology, TV advertising, and some digital marketing is a plus but not a necessity
  • 3-5 years in media/advertising - media planning, media buying, marketing or traffic experience is preferred
  • Experience and knowledge with applications including: Strata, TIM, MRM, and DOMO is preferred
  • Prior experience with sales order processing, media planning applications, or scheduling software
  • Highly skilled at communication, organization, time management, interpersonal and team collaboration
  • Possess an analytical mindset and attention to details
  • Adaptability, resourcefulness, demonstrating proactive problem solving and decision-making

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in New York State is $64,260.00 - $105,570.00 / year. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in Texas is 53,550 - 87,975 / year. For other locations, please inquire with your recruiter.
