Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director of Base Management for our Mobile division. This role is accountable for the ongoing management and optimization of mobile base management programs aimed at enhancing customer retention and reducing churn. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, pricing, and customer care, to ensure effective execution of mobile upgrade campaigns and engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Oversee Mobile Base Management Programs: Lead the development and continuous improvement of mobile base management initiatives to drive customer retention and enhance overall customer experience.
• Coordinate with Product and Pricing Teams: Collaborate with product and pricing teams to design and implement targeted mobile upgrade campaigns that align with business objectives and enhance customer value.
• Churn Reduction Strategies: Work closely with Care and Retention teams to identify key lifecycle moments and behavioral triggers, developing strategies to proactively address churn and improve customer engagement.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish metrics and reporting mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of base management programs, making data-driven decisions to optimize strategies and initiatives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure cohesive strategies and effective execution of mobile customer engagement initiatives.
• Customer Insights and Feedback: Utilize customer insights and feedback to refine base management programs, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the mobile customer base.
• Budget Management: Manage the budget for mobile base management initiatives, ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve desired outcomes.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in customer base management, retention strategies, or related fields, preferably within the telecommunications or mobile industry.
• Proven track record of managing successful customer retention programs and reducing churn rates.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing and product initiatives.
• Excellent project management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Innovative thinker with a passion for enhancing customer experiences and driving engagement.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $141,372.00 - $201,960.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
