Job Summary
The Vice President, Product Management - B2B is a pivotal leadership role responsible for defining and executing the product strategy and roadmap for business-to-business (B2B) telecommunications services. This includes overseeing the roadmap, development, launch, and lifecycle management of solutions designed to meet the needs of enterprise, SMB, and carrier customers. The role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the telecommunications ecosystem, customer demands, and emerging technologies to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction. This senior leader will report to the SVP, GM of Business Services to assist in driving revenue, subscriber growth, market share gain, and customer retention to achieve and exceed corporate budget plan objectives.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for B2B telecommunications services, aligning with corporate objectives.
- Define product portfolio priorities, focusing on innovation, differentiation, and market leadership.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of the market.
Product Development and Management:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of B2B products, including ideation, development, launch, optimization, and sunset strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and operations teams to ensure product delivery meets quality, timeline, and cost objectives.
- Drive the creation of value-added services such as cloud, IoT, cybersecurity, and unified communications tailored for business clients (e.g., SMBs and Enterprises).
Revenue and Profitability:
- Work closely with category management, sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies that maximize adoption, customer retention, and revenue growth.
- Manage P&L for the B2B product portfolio, ensuring profitability while maintaining competitive pricing and value propositions.
Customer-Centric Approach:
- Advocate for business customers, incorporating their feedback into product design and enhancements.
- Focus on delivering solutions that solve customer pain points, enhance productivity, and improve their overall experience.
Leadership and Team Building:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product managers and other professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Build cross-functional collaboration between product, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
Operational Excellence:
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure the success of B2B product initiatives.
- Drive efficiency and scalability in product management processes, ensuring timely and successful product launches.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.
- 12+ years of leadership experience in product management within the telecommunications or related industry, with a focus on B2B services.
- Proven track record of launching and scaling successful products for enterprise, SMB, or carrier customers.
- Strong background in managing product portfolios with significant revenue and profitability impact.
- Deep knowledge of telecommunications technologies such as 5G, SD-WAN, security, UCaaS, voice, video, IoT, and cloud-based solutions.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Outstanding leadership and team development abilities with a focus on collaboration and innovation.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $178,500.00 - $293,250.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
