Job Summary
The Director of Media Strategy will be a pivotal force in driving Juice’s growth by identifying high-potential brands and crafting compelling, data-driven strategies that position us as their ideal media partner. This role requires a blend of analytical rigor, creative storytelling, and a deep understanding of media trends to develop winning pitches and unlock new revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate will work closely with C-suite leadership, client success teams, and business development leads to shape the agency’s approach to scaling brands, identifying new market opportunities, and ensuring that every engagement is built on strategic, data-backed insights. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and sales.
Responsibilities
Strategic Market & Client Identification
- Partner with C-suite executives to define high-value target markets, client profiles, and customer segments that align with our capabilities and revenue objectives
- Analyze industry trends, category disruptions, and brand growth patterns to proactively identify brands with $5M–$100M in media spend that are primed for scaling.
- Conduct competitive analysis of media agencies, marketing service providers, and technology solutions to position the agency effectively in pitches and prospecting efforts.
Data-Driven Prospecting & Pitch Development
- Leverage first- and third-party data sources, industry insights, and software tools to craft compelling narratives that demonstrate how the agency can drive client growth.
- Build and maintain a knowledge hub of industry intelligence, including media trends, competitive agency movements, and client success case studies.
- Develop briefing materials for business development and client success teams, ensuring deep understanding of prospective clients' market dynamics, audience behaviors, and competitor landscapes.
- Lead the creation of tailored, high-impact pitch materials with clear strategic recommendations, ensuring each presentation is insight-led, visually compelling, and aligned with client needs.
New Business Engagement & Pipeline Management
- Engage with prospective clients gathering insights on their business challenges and media ambitions to guide next steps.
- Lead the pitch process from RFP to close, ensuring a clear strategic vision, compelling storytelling, and alignment with client objectives.
- Develop and operationalize the seamless transition between new business development and client success teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Qualifications
- A strategic thinker with 8- 10 years of experience and a proven track record in media, marketing, or growth strategy within an agency or consultancy environment.
- Deeply analytical with the ability to turn data into compelling business narratives.
- A natural storyteller who excels at crafting persuasive, visually engaging presentations.
- Experienced in working with high-growth brands and understanding the nuances of scaling businesses.
- A proactive self-starter with strong collaboration skills across business development, client success, and executive leadership teams.

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $124,800.00 - $192,000.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
