Job Summary

 

Lightpath is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our rapidly growing Outside Plant PMO team. This role will serve as a trusted partner to the PMO leader, managing high-visibility projects, overseeing financial reporting, and contributing to the development and refinement of scalable processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

 

The Senior Project Manager will play a critical role in ensuring seamless project delivery across multiple markets while working with leadership to establish KPIs, enhance workflows, and drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a seasoned project manager with strong financial acumen, a collaborative approach, and a passion for mentoring team members as we expand into new markets.

 

The Senior Project Manager will work hand-in-hand with the PMO leader to develop scalable processes that support the rapid growth of the organization. This role is instrumental in ensuring alignment between strategy and execution by overseeing key projects, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to the establishment of performance metrics for the PMO team. By fostering collaboration and innovation, the Senior Project Manager will help position the team for long-term success.

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage end-to-end delivery for assigned markets, including project planning, client communication, timeline management, and issue resolution.
  • Oversee financial reporting for projects, ensuring budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with the PMO leader to develop and refine scalable delivery processes that support organizational growth.
  • Work with the PMO leader to establish and monitor KPIs for the PMO team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and tools to support project tracking, status updates, and decision-making.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project managers, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, alignment, and repeat business opportunities.

Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years of project management experience in telecom, construction, or related industries.
  • Proficient in financial reporting, with advanced Excel skills and exposure to Power BI (preferred).
  • Experience in ESRI, IQ GEO, or GIS tools is a plus.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to adapt in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization.
  • A team-oriented mindset, with a passion for mentoring and developing others.
